Conrad A. Chayes, Jr. practices in the areas of medical malpractice, dental malpractice and general liability. Additionally, Mr. Chayes is involved in the representation of medical and dental practitioners in discipliniary and licensing proceedings before the OPMC and OPD. He participates in all aspects of case management, from the inception of an action at the pleadings level, throughout the discovery process, during party depositions, substantive motion practice and argument, and the preparation of cases for trial.

Mr. Chayes previously spent time in the Office of the Town Attorney of the Town of Smithtown, where he successfully undertook judgment enforcement campaigns, defense of the Town in Supreme Court proceedings, and drafting Town Code and the Due Process procedures currently utilized by the Town for the removal of derelict structures.

Before attending law school, Mr. Chayes spent several years with the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, and has worked overseas representing a top-ranked criminal firm at trials and hearings throughout the London and Southern England areas.
